My mom has urged me repeatedly to read to my daughter (her apo), even as early as the time she was able to sit. She has told me to teach her to read…not just usual children’s story/picture books but written words! She gave us a book, “How to Teach Your Child to Read,” which I have yet to finish and learn to apply the techniques of making Gabbie able to read at a young age.
